CoWin servers down as COVID-19 vaccine registration starts for 18-45 age group
CoWin registration starts for the Coronavirus vaccination for the age group 18-45 years at 4 pm on Wednesday,
with many users complaining that the CoWin server down and they not able to do vaccine registration.
Many users didn’t receive a one time password – OTP to further in this registration process.
People on Twitter share their experience for it.
Meantime so many person complain that,
they’re not able to schedule an appointment after registering through the CoWin portal,
as the appointments only available to people over age of 45 years.
The government made it clear through the Twitter handle of the Aarogya Setu Appliaction,
that people below 45 years of age would able to make appointments,
after schedule vaccination sessions of state govt. and private vaccination centers.
While India is battling the 2nd wave of the Covid-19 epidemic,
The govt. has declare that all people over the age of 18 will eligible to receive vaccinations against the virus from 1st May.
Under Phase 3 of the vaccination program,
vaccine manufacturers have been allow to release up to 50 % of their supplies as the previously announce price in the open market.
States have also empower to purchase more vaccine supplements direct from makers,
as well as vaccination for people of any age group over 18 years of age.
The Serum Institute of India has said that it will give its vaccine, Covishield at Rs. 400 / dose to state governments,
and Rs. 600 / dose to private hospitals.
Meantime, Bharat Biotech has price its Covaxin at Rupees 600 / state government,
Rupees 1200 / dose for private hospitals and $ 15-20 for exports.
The central govt. ask both makers to reduce the prices of their vaccines.
