Arvind Kejriwal – Accepting the surge in COVID-19 cases in the last few days,

the Kejriwal’s govt. is plans to close the market in a major violation of the Covid-19 security norms.

CM Arvind Kejriwal told a press conference on 17th November,

that his government would send a proposal in this regard to the Center.

Covid-19 will send a proposal to the central govt. for permission to close the markets,

which are likely to become hotspots, the chief minister told the press-conference.

Delhi govt has sent a proposal to Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal,

to withdraw his decision to allow 200 people to attend the wedding ceremonies and limit the number to 50 now.

Arvind Kejriwal said that, I appeal to Delhiites to fold hands and wear masks and follow the norms of social distances.

He said that the Delhi government,

the Center and all agencies are making double efforts to control the Covid-19 situation in the national capital.

Delhi has seen record high cases with each passing day in the last few weeks.

With such an increase in new Covid-19 infections in the national capital,

the center announce a slew of measures to combat the virus on 15th November,

including providing 300 additional ICU beds, doubling the number of daily PCR tests & a home.
