Private and public banks in India will remain close for 14 days in November 2020 due to various bank holidays.
Apart from festivals like Diwali and Guru Nanak Jayanti, these also include the second Saturday,
the fourth Saturday of every month and Sunday. According to the rules of the RBI,
banks are close on all public holidays.
14th November Saturday Diwali, On 16th November Monday, Bhai Dooj
and 30th November 2020 Monday are the holidays of Guru Nanak Jayanti,
during which almost all banks across the country will remain close.
