Gujarat will gets more tourists at Statue of Unity than US’s Statue of Liberty – PM Narendra Modi
Gujarat – Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that,
more tourists visit the Statue of Unity in Gujarat than the Statue of Liberty in New York.
In his address after flagging off 8 trains from across India to Kevadia through video conferencing,
Modi said that a survey will visit Kevadia daily with over 1,00,000 people.
PM inaugurate the Statue of Unity, establish as the world’s tallest built,
in Oct 2018 on the moment of the 143rd birthday ceremony of ‘Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’.
Modi said that apart from tourists coming to the Statue of Unity,
the locals would the biggest beneficiaries of the new rail connectivity.
Moreover traveler visiting some center locate in the area will get the benefit of new trains to Kevadia, he said.
Now a days Kevadia is no longer a small block locate in a remote area of Gujarat,
but is emerging as the largest tourist destination in the world.
More people have start visiting the Statue of Unity than the Statue of Liberty.
Since its inauguration, it has seen by around 50,00,000 people.
Despite everything being close for months during the coronavirus epidemic,
the number of tourists visiting Kevadia is increasing rapidly, PM Modi said.
A survey has estimate that as connectivity increases, more than 1 lakh people will visit Kevadia daily.
Place Kevadia is a best sample of how both the economy & anatomy can develop in a plan manner,
while saving the environment, Modi said,
adding that tourists visiting the Statue of Unity would be able to see this rail connectivity Benefit, but this connectivity.
To change the lives of the people of Kevadia.
This will bring new employment & self employment opportunities, he said.
This railway line will also connect important places like Karnali, Poicha and Garudeshwar.
And it is true that the entire region is fill with spiritual vibrations.
With this facility, it is a great gift for those who usually come here for spiritual reasons, he said.
