Keshubhai Patel – Former Gujarat CM Passes Away at Age of 92
Keshubhai Patel a Former CM of Gujarat dies at the age of 92 in a hospital of Ahmedabad.
As per the report, Keshubhai brought to the city’s Sterling Hospital in an unconscious state in the morning.
Doctor of Sterling Hospital Akshay Kiledar said, ‘We try to revive him.. but he declare dead.
He did not die due to Corona. Mr. Patel had previously test positive for COVID-19 but later recover.
Keshubhai Savdasbhai Patel serve as the CM of Gujarat for a few months in 1995
And again succeed by Narendra Modi from March 1998 to October 2001.
In 2012, Keshubhai left the BJP to form the Gujarat Parivartan Party, which later merge with the BJP.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweets on his personal Twitter handle and express grief over the death of Keshubhai.
Other senior leaders also mourn the demise of the veteran Gujarat politician.
President Ram Nath said that the country has lost a strong leader due to the death of Keshubhai.
His long public life devote to improving the lives of millions, especially in villages.
Stating that he deeply pain by the death of the senior leader,
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh called Keshubhai a ‘fundamentalist’ who play a key role in strengthening the BJP in Gujarat.
The former CM originally a member of the Jana Sangh, which later dissolve in 1980 to form the BJP.
Consulate General of Israel in Mumbai,
which also caters state to Gujarat, Goa and M.P., said Mr. Patel would remember as ‘a devote politician.’
