Maha Shivratri is an auspicious Hindu festival and is consider to the most important,

Nishita Kaal Puja – 12:06am to 12: 55am on 12th March,

Shivratri Parna time – 6:34 am to 03: 02 pm 12th March.

Maha Shivaratri celebrate,

On this day, married women observe fast to maintain peace in their married life,

while unmarried women observe this fast to get marry.

Devotees go to Lord Shiva temples and offer milk, fruits & other food items to Lord Shiva.

Importance of Maha Shivratri – Popular mythology suggests that Shivratri is a convergence of Shiva & Shakti,

masculine and feminine energy that imparts a sense of balance to the world.

In addition, it’s have faith that God Shiva, also known as Nataraja, execute his cosmic dance Tandav on this day.

Other popular beliefs also suggest that Lord Shiva appear as Linga on the midnight of Maha shivratri.

Thus, Maha Shivaratri is also celebrate as the birthday of Lord Shiva.
