Mayawati – chief of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) said on Saturday,

Lauding the new alliance between BSP and SAD,

Dalits, farmers, youth & women are suffering the most under Congress rule in Punjab.

She said that it is very important to make this alliance successful in the 2022 assembly elections,

to get rid of the highly prevalent corruption, unemployment, poverty under Congress rule.

‘Though every section of the society in Punjab is suffering from poverty, corruption & unemployment etc.,

which are prevalent here under the Congress party rule,

Dalits, farmers, youth and women etc. have to suffer the most to get it. Get rid of them.

It’s most necessary to do this alliance a victory,’ Mayawati’s tweet.

Echoing the words of her new political ally Shrimoni Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal,

said that the alliance declare by SAD & BSP in Punjab is a new political and social initiative,

Badal said the SAD and BSP will contest the 2022 elections & other elections jointly.

BSP would contest 20 of the 117 assembly seats in Punjab, while the rest would contest by,

the Akali Dal- Kartarpur Sahib in Jalandhar, Jalandhar-West, Jalandhar-North, Phagwara, Hoshiarpur Urban, Dasuya,

Amritsar North & Amritsar Central are among the seats from where Mayawati has won.

The BSP led will contest the elections.Shrimoni Akali Dal broke its alliance with the BJP last year over 3 controversial agricultural laws.
