Protesting Farmers to Bharat Bandh Call on 8th December
Protesting Farmers: Joint forum of ten central trade unions has given their support,
on the call for Bharat Bandh by peasant organizations on 8 December.
Moreover, Unions called for a nationwide strike on 26th November to oppose the recently pass Labor Code,
as well as agricultural laws, along with other laws.
Further, Joint Forum is of 10 Central Trade Unions – Indian National Trade Union Congress – INTUC,
All-India-Trade Union Congress : AITUC, Hind-Mazdoor Sabha : HMS, Indian-Trade Unions : CITU,
All-India-United Trade Union Center : AIUTUC, Trade Union Co ordination Center : TUCC,
Self-Employed Women Asso. :SEWA, All-India-Central-Council of Trade-Unions : AICCTU,
Labor-Progressive-Federation :LPF & United-Trade-Union-Congress :UTUC.
In addition, A joint statement said that the joint forum of central trade unions,
and independent regional unions / organizations reiterate their full support,
to the ongoing united struggles of farmers seeking to abolish agrarian laws.
Equally, A Joint Forum note with satisfaction that since 27th November 2020,
with the struggles of the workers in all the states across the country,
the employees and workers and their unions have fully active in carrying out several agitations with solidarity.

Similarly, Unite Forum has welcome the determination and resolve of a unite platform of farmers organizations,
to intensify nationwide conflict & offers all support for their call for Bharat Bandh on 8th December 2020.
As well as, For the active solidarity of the peasant organizations,
the United Forum & the Sectoral Federations / Unions called for the affiliation of employees,
employees and their unions, to call for Bharat Bandh.
