Signal raises to top free apps on App Store after ditch WhatsApp
After the uproar on WhatsApp – Facebook, the app that shines the top is Signal.
As resentment against WhatsApp’s latest policy of sharing data with Facebook has grow,
the app chart continues to climb.
In a tweet, the app said that it has become the No. 1 download app in the free app category on the App Store.
only not in India, it became the top downloaded application in
Germany, Finland, Austria, France, Hong Kong & Switzerland.
App said that it is seeing such a surge in new users that,
there is a delay in phone number verification of new accounts.
Signal leaps in the charts come from the support of Elon Musk as well as WhatsApp’s displeasure.
